We recommend that you contact us as soon as you have decided to sell your property or found your home or investment property. We will check any contract, advise you on matters such as your rights under the cooling off provisions, conduct any appropriate searches and advise you about insurance matters and types of co-ownership (if applicable), your rights and responsibilities and the most current laws that may affect your transaction.

We will look after your matter including co-ordinating with your bank if you are borrowing money, preparing necessary documentation, apply for applicable concessions on your behalf, calculate settlement figures and attend settlement.

Tips for buying property

  1. Never sign something you do not understand. We will review your Contract of Sale free of charge at the beginning of your conveyancing transaction.
  2. We recommend you obtain pre-approval for a loan so you know exactly how much you can spend before you even begin your search. Never buy anything without getting an independent building and pest inspection report done, as well as a strata report if you are buying an apartment.
  3. Be aware of potential Stamp Duty exemptions for your property. If you are a First Home Owner – ask us about the FHOG.
